DATING

                                          DATING
Dating is form of courtship, and may include any social activities undertaken by typically, two persons with the ago of each assessing the other's suitability as partner in an intimate relationship or as a spouse. The word refers to the act of meeting and engaging in some mutually agreed upon social activities include entertainment or a meal. In many cultural traditions, a date may be arranged by a third party, who may be a family members, acquaintance, or professional match-makers. Recently internet eating has become popular. Although eating etiquette has become more relaxed eatsing twentieth century, there are considerable differences between social and personal values. For examples, when an activity cost money (for example, a meal), traditionally the man was expecte to say, but in recent times the practice of "going dutch" (splitting the expenses) has become more common and more acceptable. With the wider availability of information about traditionally secretive issues individual are more open about their interest in sexuality both in form of dating language and dress. The average duration of courtship before proceeding to engagement or marriage varies considerably throughout the world. 

SYSTEMS FOR ORGANIZING DATES. 
1. ONLINE DATING: instead of using a traditional match makers, online dating uses specifically targeted websites to meet new people. 
2. SPEED DATING: where a group of people get together for several hours in public; one is given a set amount of time to sit and take to a particular person before moving onto the next. 
3. MOBILE DATING/CELL PHONE DATING: where text messages to and from a mobile / cell phone carrier are used to show interest in others on the system. It can be based on online eating as well depending on the company. 
4. VIRTUAL DATING: A combination of video hand playing and dating, where users create avatars and spend hume in virtual worker in an attempt to of other avatars with the purpose of meeting for potential dates. 
5. BLIND DATE: where the people involved have not met each other previously, the match could have been arranged by mutual friends, relatives or by a dating system.
6. SINGLE EVENTS: where a group of singles a re brought together to take part in various events for the purpose of meeting new people. Events can include such things as parties, workshops and games. Single events have been an area of particular growth in singles related commerce. Many events are aimed at singles of particular affiliations, interest or religions. Some of the most strongly attended events are the christmas due parties targeted at young Jewish singles in major cities in North America, particularly the Matzo Ball and its large bil competitors. A variety of other religious organizations single events are also very popular. However, dating via religious sponsored singles events has also been criticized for fostering invasions of daters' privacy and undue expectations.
